Torino–Lyon Highway Vehicle Overpass Strengthening Project – Turin, Italy (2024)

Project Name: Torino–Lyon Highway Vehicle Overpass Strengthening Project
Location: Turin, Italy
Project Year: 2024

The Torino–Lyon Highway Vehicle Overpass Strengthening Project was carried out using advanced bridge engineering and earthquake engineering methods. The existing overpass was strengthened with FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) materials, and our team provided full design and structural engineering services for the project.

During the project, core sampling tests and GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) scanning were performed to assess the structural condition of the bridge. Based on the collected data, prestressed bridge analysis and seismic performance evaluations were conducted to ensure the reliability and safety of the structure.

The strengthening design was prepared in accordance with vehicle bridge design principles and international engineering standards, focusing on enhancing durability, safety, and long-term performance.
